People do come through, sometimes

So, last week I asked Natacha if I could borrow $100 to buy groceries for this week before payday as I'm literally out of cash (incl. had to buy program supplies) and quickly running out of food. This is not just a scary thought, but I was about a day or two away from it being a reality.

She says "Of course, I'm glad you asked me." I feel like this is great, I came out and asked for help and by not being afraid to ask for it, I got it. She comes back the next day with bad news. She's on the minus in her account and her boyfriend, even better, minus $400 on his account. So, unfortunately no grocery money for me. But she did offer to give me some food from her house to make it.

I came back from the fitness centre one day to find a lovely note from her and new food in the freezer and more in a bag. I was so happy, it literally made my day. What a wonderful person she is.

P.s. - She even left me frozen raw croissants in the fridge. Fuck those are tempting. I always want to never defrost and bake them, oodles of calories (272 each to be exact)
