Painfully lonely and homesick (Toronto & Waterloo) and belting out sad Snow Patrol song is and isn't helping.

Some of the songs (for my future reference) include Called Out in the Dark, Run, Set the Fire to the Third Bar*, Open Your Eyes, Shut Your Eyes.

Some poignant lyrics from these songs that strike a teary cord:
"I'm miles from where you are,
I lay down on the cold ground
I, I pray that something picks me up
And sets me down in your warm arms"

"I hang my coat up in the first bar
There is no peace that I've found so far"

"It's like we just can't help ourselves
Cause we don't know how to back down"

"And how the heavens they opened up
Like arms of dazzling gold"
