I think I'm going to need to re-evaluate when I can realistically begin psychoanalysis. It involves 4 to 5 hour-long weekly sessions, and the fact that there's no psychoanalysts in K-W/Cambridge area only complicates matters further. If I find a job in downtown Toronto, then I could start in January, provided I find someone with an opening for me. That would be ideal.

Now how do I make 'ideal' the reality?
Before coop job finding process:
a) Call the tps&i referral service (T: 416 922 7770; email: info@torontopsychoanalysis.com) in the new year - find out if psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic psychotherapy (if covered) is right for me
b) Now ask if psychoanalyst how frequently there's new openings for clients/how fast they get snatched up
Based on the above telephone call:
a) Apply for coop jobs in Toronto/Etobicoke/bordering Mississauga area and start psychoanalysis after work as I'm already downtown
OR
b) Apply to any job that seems interesting and a good fit, irrespective of location :( and no psychoanalysis for now (spring or fall 2012)
